T-FIX application system for bonded facades
Porcelain stoneware slabs can be bonded directly onto external plaster after checking the substrate according to current regulations. However, to ensure installation safety when the formats exceed 30 cm per side, it is necessary to adopt mechanical fixings.
The T-FIX system ensures adherence to the wall through a concealed mechanical hook which, before installation, is inserted into the porcelain stoneware slabs. Once the slab is installed, after spreading the full-bed glue, the hook is secured to the wall below by means of anchors.
The T-FIX system is able to guarantee safety in the event of the adhesive detaching between the wall and the ceramic slabs, together with a unique ease and speed of installation. The 0.5 mm thick stainless steel hook is supplied separately to be assembled on the back of the slab, before proceeding with the bonding of the slab to the wall and the subsequent fixing of the metal plate through an anchor.
Sustainability and reduction of environmental impact
