Breccia Laurentina, Velvet Ivory and Fior di Luna: the evolution of Infinity’s large-format surfaces
Three different styles of large-format porcelain stoneware expand the Infinity surface system, allowing for new design possibilities in architectural and interior design applications.

Each material expresses its own distinct balance and characteristics. With Breccia Laurentina, Velvet Ivory and Fior di Luna, Infinity has developed three different interpretations of the surface in the 160×320 cm format.
Resulting from the synergy between aesthetic and material research and technological development within Infinity Lab, the three surfaces share the large-format size and the concept of the slab as a design tool capable of actively contributing to the definition of contemporary space.
Breccia Laurentina embodies a more distinctive identity, characterised by a continuous vein running through the material. Velvet Ivory and Fior di Luna, on the other hand, explore a more understated architectural presence, which emerges through tactile perception and the varying effects of light.
Breccia Laurentina MB31
Breccia Laurentina expresses an intense, layered material texture, capable of evoking some of the most recognisable features of Italian architectural history, reinterpreting them through a contemporary language. A light background, crossed by warm hues, meets deep stripes in shades of brown and grey, marked by light veins that define the pattern, in a composition with a bold, almost painterly quality.
Continuity in the pattern is provided by Natura-Vein Tech, Infinity’s technology that allows the mineral and colour components to run through the entire thickness of the slab, creating consistency between surfaces, edges and workpieces.
The Levigato Pearl finish balances its intensity through a matt effect and silky-smooth hand feel.
Velvet Ivory SE15
Velvet Ivory is defined by an ivory background featuring linear veining and subtle variations in shades of grey, which create a regular yet never uniform texture. The pattern combines the natural irregularity of the material with a more orderly visual structure, giving the surface a balanced and recognisable identity.
Its interaction with light gradually alters the way it is perceived: textural highlights and surface variations emerge differently depending on the angle of incidence and the viewing point, accentuating its depth and tactile quality.
The result is a discreet architectural presence, capable of blending seamlessly into furnishing and interior design projects without compromising its distinct material identity.
Fior di Luna SE17
Fior di Luna features a surface in which small fossils and fragments of sedimented shells emerge in a balanced and understated pattern. The background, reinterpreted in a luminous ivory shade, enhances the material and complements its variations in the light.
The Super Natural finish transfer this textural richness to the sensory experience, through meticulous surface detailing. Delicate micro-reliefs follow the fossil details and precisely reproduce their depth.
Viewed as a whole, the slab presents a uniform and measured appearance; on closer inspection, however, the fine articulation of the pattern and the tactile quality of the surface emerge. Light constantly renews our perception of it, highlighting its details and variations.
