Cut and Drape textures: Plaster reinterprets its own surface

Two new textures expand the expressive possibilities of Plaster by Arkèon, introducing a whole new tactile dimension, in which inspiration drawn from gestural gestures becomes the generative principle of the slab.

The surface as material writing

Plaster arises from spontaneous gestures: precisely applied spatula strokes, rooted in the Arts and Crafts movement, where the human touch gives life to an original texture and the colour palette evokes the earth in its deepest hues.

Infinity now takes this exploration to a further level, introducing two new textures for Plaster – Cut and Drape – available in the 160×320 cm format, with 6 mm thickness and matt finish.

Cut imprints the craftsman’s energetic engraving onto the slab, accentuating the contrasts of light along the ridges of the relief and creating a surface with a strong material identity, featuring precise formal clarity and an effective, sculptural presence across large areas.

Drape introduces an opposite yet complementary dimension: a barely perceptible textile weave that sinks into the still-fresh material, where oblique light reveals the imprint as an echo of the laying gesture, capable of modulating the perception of space through controlled movement without altering its overall tone.
